Santa Visit

The other day, Malinda came in town with Wes and we went to Bass Pro for our first Santa visit.  We were able to work it out to go over Jeremy and my's lunch hour.  No line at all!  We will have to do the same for years to come.

Newest Ornaments

Thank you to Seasons, the Christmas store at the mall:-)  My boss and her husband own the store and for the past couple years, I have helped out during the busy times, but not this year:-)

A Squirrel and an Acorn.  Each year I plan to have an ornament that represents what Hunter (and Bow) was for Halloween.  

St. Nicholas Day

Jolly ol' St. Nicholas visited Hunter on Monday night:-)  I'm excited to have this tradition...hopefully I can keep it.  I can remember putting our shoes out in the hallway at school a few years, but we never carried out the tradition at home.

Meet Nora Jessie

On Monday, we welcomed the newest member of the family!  Nora Jessie Lynn was born at 8:28 am, 8lbs and 3 oz, 18.75in  Congrats to Shannon and Drew:-)

Jeremy and I are excited to have another niece and Hunter is excited for another cousin!

Thanksgiving 2011

What a great day spent with all of our family!  We started off by going to Jeremy's parents house.  Jeremy's parents and Uncle surprised his grandparents with a new car!  I think they were in shock but are liking the new vehicle.  We had a wonderful dinner and Hunter was able to "play" with his cousins.  Any day now, we will welcome the newest member of the family into the world.  Jeremy's sister is scheduled for a c-section on Monday.  I will post pictures of our new niece/nephew when he/she gets here!

After dinner we headed to my parents house where the whole fam including Aunt Mary, Aunt Cathy, Uncle Rex and Uncle Wayne were gathered.  Hunter was able to play with his cousins on the Slack side.  It's so fun to see Cole play with Weston and Hunter.  I know he can't wait for them to be running around with him.  Before we left, I was able to get Hunter dressed in his night-time diaper and jammies.  By time we got home he was asleep so getting him from his carseat to his crib was pretty easy.

Halloween Outfits

Hunter had a lot of festive outfits to wear the last few weeks of October...

Hunter turns 3 months old!

Last Sunday, Hunter turned 3 months old!  Where has the time gone?  There wasn't a well baby appointment this month so I'm not officially sure how much the little pumpkin weighs.  He is no longer a new born:-(  Almost overnight he went from newborn to baby.  He really enjoys exploring his hands and sucking on his fist or finger(s)...whatever he can get in his mouth.  He is starting to grab for toys and holds them for longer periods of time.  Hunter still loves to listen to music and anything thing that plays music is our best friend.  He is sitting in his bumbo, but I haven't seen him enjoy it as much as my mom says he does during the day when we are working.  He really likes to follow us with his eyes which is a lot of fun but he now knows where I sit when I'm waiting for him to fall asleep:-)  Hunter does a lot of cooing and smiling but no real laughs yet.  At night he is sleeping a good 5 hours and usually goes back down for a couple more hours.  He changes so much so fast!  I swear when I come home from work, it looks like he has grown 5 inches:-)  One of my favorite things to watch him do is to stretch after he wakes up.  When I take the swaddle off of him, he throws his arms above his head and stretches so big that his little fist shake.  Makes me smile every time!

Hunter and Frankie

Jeremy's mom got Hunter a cute little dancing Frankenstein toy for Halloween.  Here is video of Hunter and the dancing Frankenstein.  It makes me laugh:-)

Hunter's first trip to Cabelas

On Saturday we took a family trip to Cabelas.  Jeremy carried Hunter through Mule Deer Country.  Hunter seemed to enjoy himself as he looked around.  I know this was the first of many trips to Cabelas:-)  Here are some videos of Hunter taking in the sights.

On Friday Hunter and Wes had a play date at Gran and Gramps' house.  Here is video of the two babies having fun with Gramps and Clifford:-)

After play time we headed out to get some fall pictures of the two.  We ended up at Family Tree Nursery for the photo shoot.  Hunter fell asleep in the car but woke up for a few pictures...but you can tell he was very sleepy.

Friday night, Melissa and Ethan had Hunter and me over for dinner.  Here is video of the two following the "Baby Einstein" toy.
