Hunters Goal

Don't know if soccer will be Hunter's sport but he sure seems to like it:-)  We went to Cole's futsal game today and when we got home, I put him in his playroom and I kept hearing him say "goal, goal" so I looked in and this is what he was doing.  Made me smile:-)

Weekend Fun with Wes

Over the weekend Wes spent the night with my parents while Malinda and Jeremy celebrated their anniversary.  So we headed over to my parents so the cousins could play.  It's so much fun watching the two boys have such a good time!  They are going to be best buds:-)

Lots of fun playing ball in the house

Hunter loves shoes...especially boots.  He brought Andy his boots and thought it was so neat when Andy put him in them.

lots of wrestling

The rest of the weekend we spent hanging out at home.  One thing Hunter enjoys is putting things on his head.  I captured a few pictures of him with a bucket and a basket.  He also likes to put on Jeremy's hat but he also thinks it should be put on Bow.  Bow is such a good sport and goes along with it.

where's hunter?

here I am:-)

Hunter is getting so good at putting a hat on Bow.  The funny thing was how long Bow stayed like this.

Happy Anniversary to the Grabers!

Malinda and Jeremy celebrate their 5 year anniversary tomorrow!  The past five years have gone by so fast.  Since I wasn't blogging when they got married I figured I would post a few pictures from their perfect day:-)

Baby Sign

In September, Hunter and I took a Baby Sign class through Parents as Teachers.  Malinda had Wes in a baby sign class and he really enjoyed it so I thought I would see if Hunter enjoyed it too.  It was a 6 week course and each week we learned 5 or 6 new signs (mealtime, pets, park, bedtime, dressing and bath signs).  We also got 2 books, a cd and 2 dvds.  We always have the cd going when we are in the kitchen and he seems to enjoy it and will sign along when he hears words he knows.  Our dvd player had been broken for a while so we watched one of the DVDs on the computer.  Hunter sat on my lap and basically watched the whole thing.  It shocked me to see how he was really watching it.  A few months later I finally switched out the DVD player and played the dvd for him on the tv.  Same thing, he was really interested in it!  So I did some research to see if there were other DVDs that we could buy.  Sure enough there was.  I looked on Ebay and found a lot of 5 being sold.  The auction wasn’t ending for a few more days so I had to wait.  The time came and a few bids later we won the dvds!  A few days later and they were at our house.  Hunter gets so excited when we put a dvd on.  He loves watching the Monkeys and BeeBo the bear and of course he likes watching all the babies and kiddos on the dvd too.

Since Hunter doesn’t have many teeth, I’ve put off brushing his teeth.  (mainly because I forget and don’t think about it until I'm about to lay him down).  A few weeks ago I finally remembered and tried to brush his teeth.  Hunter wanted nothing to do with it.  I then starting kicking myself for not starting earlier but oh well…we will just have to take what we can get and eventually it will work.  One of the new DVDs we have is “bedtime signs” and toothbrush is one of the signs.  After watching the dvd a few times I think Hunter started to be ok with the toothbrush!  And now he loves to hold the toothbrush up to his mouth.

The DVDs...I think there is only one other one we don't have yet.

Happy New Year!

Today Hunter got to put on his snowsuit and boots that Jeremy's mom bought for him and play in the snow.  It took Hunter a little while to figure out how to walk in the marshmallow suit but once we made it outside he had a great time!
