What's new with Erin, Jeremy and Bow?

WELL....coming in July, Bow will be a big brother...I'm pregnant!

So far so good.  Right now I'm 11 weeks and 4 days and have been feeling fine.  Don't get much morning sickness just feel nauseated every so often and I can't get enough sleep:-)  I like to say that all the acupuncture I've been getting has helped to keep the morning sickness away.  I know my acupuncturist would agree.  At both of my appointments I was able to get a sonogram.  The first one was a just for fun.  At that time it wasn't much, just a little blob but we could see the heart beat.  At my second appointment, the doctor couldn't find the heartbeat with the Doppler so she sent me for a sonogram.  We were able to see much more than a blob this time.  It looked like a gummy bear dancing around.  I swear it was doing a "thriller" move.  It must have learned it over xmas doing the Wii Michael Jackson game.  I'm due at the end of July.  Most people know the summer is my favorite time of the year so this makes it even better!

First Snow of 2011

I'm pretty sure all the kids in the KC metro area are home today enjoying a snow day.  Last night it started to snow and they are calling for it to stop sometime late tonight.  So the inches are adding up.  I'm lucky enough to be able to work from home when the weather is bad.

Bow loves seeing the white stuff outside!  He goes nuts for the snow.  We keep a bell on the door for him to "ring" when he needs to potty but on a day like today, he uses it just to go outside and stick his nose in the snow and run around.  So as I type he is outside and will hopefully wear himself out and will sleep for a few hours when I let him in.   Here are some photos of him in the snow.  Someday I will have an awesome camera that will capture these moments in a crisper take.  If I can get a video up, I'll add that too.

What Bow does when I go to work...

While I was getting ready to leave for work the other day, I was going to tell Bow "bye" but he wasn't in he usual spot (his chair).  I look around and didn't see him, so I looked upstairs and I could see that he was on our bed.  As I walk up closer to him, I notice that he had pulled the sheets back and made a nest for himself!  It cracked me up that he had put himself and his duck back to bed.  Here are some pictures of Bow in getting comfortable for a few more hours of sleep.

Grooming Day

I don't know if Bow gets excited for Grooming Day but I do!  I love when Bow gets his hair trimmed and gets all "prettied up".  The groomer said he did really well.  He jumped right in to the bath but didn't want to get in the kennel.  He never liked his kennel when he was a puppy and I guess the memory has stuck with him.  Or it might remind him of being at the vets office.  Grooming days wear Bow out.  So I didn't get too many pictures to show off his new clean look but did capture a few by the tree.

Santa Visit

Every year we take Bow to see Santa at Petsmart.  This was another successful year!  Bow was really excited but they were able to take a photo with him looking at the camera.  Isn't he cute??!!!

November in Review

Another full month of working full-time has gone by.  Health insurance kicked in this month and I took full advantage since I haven't had good coverage for about a year!  Besides working full-time at the Health Department, I'm working at Seasons again this year, helping my boss' husband out at the store.  Jeremy has also been working a lot this month with a job he got from some buddies.  Hopefully it goes well and more jobs will continue to come in.

A few weekends ago, Cole had his last outdoor soccer tournament of the season.  The first game was played in a down-pour but the next couple of days were good weather and the team ended with another First Place finish.  Yea Spirit!

Jeremy was successful in hunting this month, killing a 9 point at his Fallbrook location.  He was able to take the meat in to get processed and he was able to take it in to get mounted.  It'll be almost 8 months before he gets it back, which gives him time to figure out where it's going to go.

Last weekend we threw Malinda a baby shower.  Great fun and lots of great gifts for the mom to be.

Thanksgiving was awesome as always.  Wonderful food and fun family time spent with both families.  By the end of the day Bow was worn out by all the playing he got to do during the day.

Clean Truck...Wrecked Truck

It's been a few years since Jeremy has cleaned and waxed his truck so a few weekends ago he decided to clean it up and give it a good wax.  The truck looked good!!  See for yourself...

But as luck would have it...Jeremy gets in a wreck a few days later!  Everyone was fine.  Jeremy was going south on Pflumm and was going through the green light at the 67th St intersection and another car pulled out right into him and smash goes his car.  Jeremy likes to say it's my fault he was in the wreck...earlier in the week he was telling me that all of his wrecks have been on Pflumm...I simply told him that he should avoid Pflumm Road.  Well he didn't take my advice and look what happened!  Come to find out the girl who hit them is friends with Aly.  Small world.  Here is a picture of what the truck looks like now.
