Another full month of working full-time has gone by. Health insurance kicked in this month and I took full advantage since I haven't had good coverage for about a year! Besides working full-time at the Health Department, I'm working at Seasons again this year, helping my boss' husband out at the store. Jeremy has also been working a lot this month with a job he got from some buddies. Hopefully it goes well and more jobs will continue to come in.
A few weekends ago, Cole had his last outdoor soccer tournament of the season. The first game was played in a down-pour but the next couple of days were good weather and the team ended with another First Place finish. Yea Spirit!
Jeremy was successful in hunting this month, killing a 9 point at his Fallbrook location. He was able to take the meat in to get processed and he was able to take it in to get mounted. It'll be almost 8 months before he gets it back, which gives him time to figure out where it's going to go.
Last weekend we threw Malinda a baby shower. Great fun and lots of great gifts for the mom to be.
Thanksgiving was awesome as always. Wonderful food and fun family time spent with both families. By the end of the day Bow was worn out by all the playing he got to do during the day.

Clean Truck...Wrecked Truck
It's been a few years since Jeremy has cleaned and waxed his truck so a few weekends ago he decided to clean it up and give it a good wax. The truck looked good!! See for yourself...
But as luck would have it...Jeremy gets in a wreck a few days later! Everyone was fine. Jeremy was going south on Pflumm and was going through the green light at the 67th St intersection and another car pulled out right into him and smash goes his car. Jeremy likes to say it's my fault he was in the wreck...earlier in the week he was telling me that all of his wrecks have been on Pflumm...I simply told him that he should avoid Pflumm Road. Well he didn't take my advice and look what happened! Come to find out the girl who hit them is friends with Aly. Small world. Here is a picture of what the truck looks like now.

Soccer Champs!
Last weekend was filled with Spirit Soccer. We have all been looking forward to this tournament, where the team would get to play their own age group and really shine through with their talent. The first two games didn't show the team at their best but they still pulled out wins. The third game was fabulous! Then it was on to the finals. It was a little slow going at first but the team never let down and won the championship 7 to 3! Way to go Cole and Coach Shaun!

it's been a while since my last post...
And now it's time for "life on rosehill" update:-) About a month ago, Jeremy's boss closed up his shop, leaving Jeremy to become a statistic on the unemployment rates. Though things are going to be tight for a while, we both know it was for the best to get away from his boss. Hopefully it won't take too many months for Jeremy to find a job. I'm sure Jeremy is happy that this happened around hunting season, leaving him with more opportunities to enjoy his hobby.
Since Jeremy now has some extra time, he has been able to complete a few projects that needed to get done. First off, he finished Bow's food dish holder. I like to joke that it's the nicest piece of furniture in our house. The holder is a big improvement to the stack of phonebooks previously holding his food dishes.
Next on Jeremy's "todo list" was to get rid of the wasp community in our bathroom window. Successful mission!
Now that the wasps are gone, a new window was installed. We had a few glitches getting the window in (mainly b/c the wrong window was bought) but after a few hours all was good!
Jeremy has also been busy re-sheetrocking the laundry room and downstair bathroom. Pictures will be added later when there is more to show:-)
We have also been busy attending Team Spirit's games. The boys improve every game and it's so much fun to watch. Here are some pictures of Cole:
Lastly the Gribbin side of the family has a new addition. Cally Jean born on September 9th. She is adorable! It's Jeremy and my's first niece, can't wait to "girl" her up;-) Here is a picture of the new Lynn family! So cute!

Great Weekend
This weekend was full of activities and was a blast! Friday night I got together with a group of friends for Happy Hour at Sol Cantina. Though it rained, we where able to stay dry and make it home before the big storms came in. Saturday started off with an awesome soccer game. Team Spirit played really well and walked away with a win of 6-2. That night we attended Wyatt's 4th birthday party. I can't believe he is turning 4 in a few days. The party was a huge success! It was a lot of fun to watch Wyatt and his little friends get so excited over everything. Bow did great around all the people...honestly I think there were so many people there that he just wanted to hang with me and Jeremy. We ended the weekend by having dinner at my parents house with all the siblings. After we ate, Jeremy was able to help Cole with some pitching and batting skills. They ended up using Bow's ball for batting practice so the ball wouldn't go far when hit. Bow didn't understand why the boys were playing with his ball and he wasn't able to play too;-) Fun weekend!
Go Spirit!!
Fall 2010 Soccer Season has official begun. A few weeks ago, Spirit had a scrimmage game against Strike Force KC (Shaun played with their coach in high school). Though the scrimmage didn't show Spirit at their best, it was a great way to kick off the season! Here are some pictures from the game. One of the dad's takes awesome pictures so I stoled them from him. Someday I hope to have a fancy camera to capture action shots like these;-)

iPhones
Two weeks ago, Jeremy and I went to AT&T to get new phones. I knew going in, that I was going to get an iPhone and assumed Jeremy was just going to get a simple phone like he has in the past. While I'm picking out a cover for my phone, Jeremy and the salesman look at his options. A few minutes later, Jeremy comes over and says he is getting an iPhone too. I told him he wouldn't like it but whatever. I'm happy to say he has proven me wrong! I cannot believe how much Jeremy loves his new phone. He has turned into a texting machine!
