Happy Easter!

Hunter was very serious about meeting the Easter Bunny.

Hunter turns 8 months old!

To start the month off, Hunter was a sick little boy.  He had caught some nasty bug that was later passed to my mom, myself and my dad but somehow Jeremy manage to not get sick!  It lasted for almost a week.  I spent the first couple nights holding Hunter so he could sleep.  By a weeks time, he was back to himself.

What happened this month:

• rolled over in his sleep and continues to do so.  He is sleeping much better b/c of this, though he does still wake up a couple times during the night.  Sometimes he can get himself back to sleep but he will nurse and goes back to sleep.
• can sit alone and play and play and play
• propels himself on his stomach with his legs and steers with his arms, most of the time it's to get Bow
• had a growth spurt and ate and ate and ate
• repeated after Weston saying "bababa" when they were playing with a ball
• I have gotten a few "mamama's" out of him
• Had to put cabinet locks on the kitchen cabinets b/c his little fingers have to get in them:-)
• Bow's food station is at Hunter's height when he is in his walker and has had many encounters with it but is starting to know that it's not for him
• he loves to climb on anyone laying on the ground

Furniture

Hunter has new furniture!  Last year, Jeremy’s parents bought Hunter’s crib and Jeremy planned on making the dresser and changing table to match.  Over the past month, the furniture has been completed and made its way upstairs to Hunter’s room.  I love it!!  Jeremy did a great job.  I love having the drawers in the changing table for his diapers.  It makes me happy when I open and see all his cute colorful diapers.

Bow and his buddy:-)

Though Bow likes to act like he doesn't know who Hunter is, we know he really loves his "little brother":-)  Bow is never far from Hunter.  Bow loves to watch Hunter play because most of Hunter's toys produce some type of reflection for Bow to play with.  Bow will try to beat us upstairs to Hunter's room whenever we are headed that way.  Bow also knows that if Hunter is put in his stroller it means we are going on a walk and he gets really excited.  Bow is quickly learning that when Hunter is in his walker, he needs to get out of the way b/c Hunter will chase him and/or run him over.  Here are several pictures of the two buddies.
