Hunter turns 10 months old!

It's getting harder to get his monthly pic!

Hunter is 10months old…double digits!  He has had a big month.  A few months ago I started making notes of things he did during the day in my planner.  It really helps me to remember the little things that might not seem that big at the time but when I look back make me smile and happy that I wrote it down.  It also gives me dates with milestonesJ

Here are the happenings from the last month:

 

• CRAWLS! Everywhere…getting faster each day and pulls up on anything he can.  He thinks he can let go and walk but he doesn’t get anywhere.
• Added lots of different foods to his diet.  Cottage Cheese, Avocado, Yogurt, tomatoes, cheeses, pasta, toast…ect
• Had a great photo shoot.  So many great pictures to choose from.
• Continues to interact with Bow.  He laughs when Bow sneezes, and when he licks his hands.  Hunter will try to play fetch with Bow by throwing the tennis ball to Bow.
• Hunter loves to watch and listen to his Laugh and Learn Puppy.  He will clap along with him.
• Moved up to a convertible car seat.  Seems to be liking it.
• Pulled up in his pack n play (knock on wood, he hasn’t pulled up in his crib)

• We bumped his jumper and walker up to the next notch.  He can still jump and move around like crazy.
• Started moving his activity table like a walker.
• Went to Cole’s soccer game.
• Consistently waking only once during the night.
• For the most part Hunter is taking two good naps a day.
• He has developed “crazy voice”.  Sometimes it sounds like he is trying to whisper.
• Loves to play with his Zoo

• We now have a baby gate up in our front room, to keep Hunter from going into the hallway.  The first day it was up, Hunter was into everything he had previously left alone; the dvd player, computer cords, floor registers, end table.  The next day he was much better at leaving those items alone.  I think since he was restricted to the room he had to touch everything he could.
• Doesn’t drink much milk.  During the week, he nurses in the morning, before bed and during his nightly waking.  (I think that is where he gets most of his intake)  He will take maybe 5 ozs (not at one time) during the day for my mom.  He doesn’t really take much of a bottle anymore, just a sippy cup or straw cup during the day.  During the weekend he will nurse during the day before or after napping.    But he has wet diapers and is gaining weight so the doctor isn’t concerned.

We usually don't let Hunter play with Bow's toys but we have been letting him hold and throw Bow's tennis balls.  I've seen Bow look out the corner of his eye at Hunter while he has his ball and once Hunter lets go, Bow will pick it up.  Tonight Hunter was all about giving the ball to Bow by holding it up to Bow's mouth.  He did it several times before I finally got the camera so I didn't capture the moment too well since they were both "over it".   But it was SO cute and Hunter loved giving it to Bow and would laugh and smile:-)

Stacking Rings and Hanging with Dad

It's so fun to watch Hunter learn.  Over the last few weeks he has gotten the hang of stacking rings.

Mid-week fun

On Wednesday my friend Melissa and her son Ethan stopped by for a quick play date.  Ethan turns one next week.  I can't believe he will be a year old!  It was so much fun to watch the boys play together.  They did lots of laughing, talking and taking of each others toys:-)

Hunter's 9 month photos

Earlier this month Hunter had his 9 month photo shoot.  I was a little worried about how the photos were going to turn out b/c it was a super windy day and the location was surrounded by construction.  The shoot went well and I couldn't wait to see the proofs.  The photographers posted a picture to facebook as a sneak-peek and I loved it!  Yesterday they posted the proofs to their website and I can't stop looking at them:-)  I need to narrow down my favorites and so far I've narrowed it to 30...  If you want to check out the pictures here is the link:

Fun before Hunter's bath

While I was getting Hunter's bath ready, he was having a blast with Jeremy and Bow.  I could listen to his little laugh all day!
