The month started out great with Eva sleeping through the night! But a few days later she had a cough that would wake her up so sleeping through the night turned into her waking one or two times. We had her sleep in the Rock N Play a few nights to help with her cough; thinking that being propped up would help her breath. We also moved her into her room at that time. She had already slept in our room longer that Hunter. The transition went fine. Her cough continued but got better. The nurse said it would probably hang around for a few weeks and she was right. This month we had 6 week pictures taken at Target (pics a in future post). It's crazy how much babies change in a short period of time. Eva had her first trip to Lawrence to visit Malinda and Wes. Eva does ok in the car as long as it keeps moving so the highway ride went well. We had some warm days so we were outside some...we also had some cold days and were thankful for some of the fleece outfits she has.
Some of her likes:
nursing
being held
taking walks (naps) while in the Ergo carrier
being talked to
watching her big bro
Some of her dislikes:
pacifiers (I'm still not giving up yet...but hope is beginning to be lost)
bottles (she screams horribly when they come near her)
tummy time
being left in the carseat once we reach our destination
car rides with lots of stops; the light at 79th and Quivira has never been our friend.
Eva's 2 month well baby check went well except having shots:-( It's horrible to watch her get her shots. A few hours after her appointment you could tell she wasn't feeling well and was in some pain. It broke my heart the way she cried but then slept like a champ that night.
