October 2014 Pictures

Here is a slideshow of the happenings during October.  The photos didn't get uploaded in chronological order but hey, they are uploaded!  Yippee:-)

Halloween 2014

Dusty Crophopper and a Cute Lil' Mouse

Though it was pretty cool on Halloween, Hunter really got into Trick or Treating and was a trooper going door to door.  Eva stayed nice and cozy inside.

The night before Halloween, we stopped by Jeremy's grandparents so they could see the kiddos in costume.  On Halloween we stopped by my parents first.  Cole and his friend were dressed as Michael Myers and Hunter was not a fan!  They quickly took their masks off and Hunter was ok.  We then went to Jeremy's parents where Hunter did his trick-or-treating.  The night ended with Jeremy and Hunter visiting our neighbors.  My neighbor told me that Hunter really enjoyed eating pumpkin seeds.  Yum, Yum!

Go Royals!

Normally in October Hunter is dressed in lots of different Halloween shirts but this month we had to keep wearing Royals gear:-)  The boys in blue did an awesome job sweeping their way to the World Series and we had lots of fun cheering them on.  Hunter loved singing Take me Out to the Ballgame and Eva loved listening to it.  He also liked to chant "Let's go Royals"

Soccer Fun

We tried something different this fall for Hunter's soccer.  It was fun for Hunter to be outside for the session but we are looking forward to Lil' Kickers during the winter months:-)

Pumpkin Patch 2014

We made a few trips to the pumpkin patch this year.  The first was to Schaake's Pumpkin Patch in Lawrence.  The kiddos and I ventured there after meeting baby Sam.  It was early evening and during the week so there wasn't a crowd.  Perfect.  I wore Eva in the Ergo and Hunter had a fun time playing around.  I even managed to get a few photos of them.

Every year I try to get this picture of Hunter.

Eva's favorite way to view the world

and of course we have to see how tall Hunter is this year

They were looking at a tractor coming our way

Eva found the hay to be very tasty...

Our second trip was to Johnson's Farm in Belton.  This trip was with Jeremy's mom, sister and girls and his cousin.  The pumpkin patch had a lot for the kids to do.  Hunter's favorite things were riding the tractor to get to the pumpkins and playing in a school bus full of sand.  Eva slept most of the time while I wore her.  Next year, I will need to make it out in the early season to buy their beautiful and really reasonably priced mums!
Hunter loved the tractor ride out to the pumkins

The Sand-Bus.  He loved this thing.

The fire truck was a big hit too.  "I'm like Uncle Andy"

Happenings during this month:
Had a few good nights of sleep but mostly waking twice...
Had some really good naps.
Starting to sit really well by yourself.
Lots of talking and making lots of sounds; very vocal.
Taking a liking to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  Will sit in jumper and watch very intently.
Hunter will ask to hold you and was very excited when we both picked him up from school.
When first laying down to sleep you like to lay on your side.
Nursing is going great and you hold my hand while you nurse and fall to sleep.
Started rolling over to sleep on tummy.
Continues to love being carried in the Ergo.
