On July 23rd at 9:22, Jeremy and I welcomed our little boy into the world. We couldn't have asked for a better labor and delivery. At 2:00am, I woke up with "cramps" (later realizing they were contractions), water broke around 3:30, at the hospital by 4:30, first epidural inserted at 5:30, still felt contractions by 6:30 so the anesthesiologist worked with tweaking it but later just re-did the whole thing. By 7:00 I was finally not feeling my contractions and was dilated to 9. Not much longer after that I was at a 10. Started pushing by 8:55 and 4 sets of pushes later, Hunter was here. The whole experience was amazing and at the end of it we have a perfect little boy. 7lbs 13oz and 20" long.
Thank you to all of those who made it to the hospital to welcome Hunter into the world.
