Easter 2012

Another "first" holiday has come and gone for Hunter. We didn't make it to mass this year b/c I elected for Hunter to keep sleeping rather than waking him up early.  It was going to be a big day and he needed all the sleep he could get.  Once Hunter woke up we went downstairs to see what the Easter Bunny had brought for him.  He loved the green ball, eggs filled with puffs, books and toys left in his basket.  For breakfast Hunter had his first taste of hardboiled egg yolk.  He was very eager to put it in his mouth and a few seconds later gave an "icky" face but continued to eat it.  We have it on video and if I knew how to get the video off the camcorder I would post it:-)
yea eggs!

what else did I get?

not going to let go of my egg

and I still have my eggs!

We headed to the Gribbins for lunch.  Jeremy’s parents and grandparents were there and later his sister and family showed up.  Diane made a yummy dinner for us to enjoy.  Hunter had a great time talking and playing his family.  Here are pictures from our visit.

We then headed to my parents to finish off the day.  When we arrived, everyone was enjoying the nice weather outside.  We all enjoyed the rest of the day by visiting, watching the boys play and eating some more.
