Some Fall Fun

I've been trying to keep Hunter busy this month...(thinking that if I can wear him out during the day he will sleep better at night) and just because there is so much to do and he is at such a fun age to watch him take everything in!

We have visited a few different parks this month.  His new favorite thing is to go down slides.  We have a nice park in our neighborhood but the "big" playground is a little too big for him but of course he loves to play on it!  I took Hunter to West Flanders park in Shawnee and the playground is much better for him to climb on and go down the slides.  We also like to walk at Hidden Park in Lenexa and look in the pond for fish.

We have visited Deanna Rose a few times.  Hunter loves walking around and petting the goats and ringing the cow bells and of course playing on the playground.

Our neighbors in the cul-de-sac across the street from us had a block party a few weeks ago and Hunter had a blast playing basketball the WHOLE time.  He would go from shooting baskets in the real goal to shooting baskets in the little fisher-price goal.  Surprisingly he made a lot of the baskets in the real goal.

Other activities include the pumpkin patch and boo at the zoo.  I'll post about those in separate posts:-)
