Weeks 16 – 19

It’s taken a while but I’m starting to have some good days when I don’t feel as nauseated. I still have trouble finding something pleasing to eat. I’ve slowly added Mexican back and even surprised Jeremy by saying we could eat out at a Mexican restaurant last week. I think once I start eating real meals I’ll feel even better. For now I just basically snack all day. Maybe if I ate more nutritious snacks I would feel better. But for now I, I do feel better than the first 16 or 17 weeks.

Though I haven’t felt well most of the pregnancy, I sure don’t have a problem putting on the weight.

I have felt little movements from the baby and can’t wait to feel them more often!

My bellybutton is now poking out...Hunter likes to push it:-)

Sleeping at night is ok. I wake to use the bathroom and usually fall right back to sleep. A few nights I have made it without waking or at least I don’t remember getting up:-) I can’t really sleep on my stomach anymore which is a bummer b/c that’s my favorite position to sleep. Jeremy said he would cut a hole in the mattress for my belly if I wanted him to;-)

We haven’t done much to prepare for baby yet. Once we know the gender it will be a lot easier to start looking for nursery ideas. Each month I have set a goal of clearing the guest room out b/c it’s going to be Baby’s room but I haven’t accomplished that yet. My goal deadline on that will be Thanksgiving. If the baby is a boy we won’t paint the room b/c it’s blue and I’ll just go with that but if it’s a girl then we will have to change it.
