March pictures week 1

Instead of putting all our random pictures in one large post from the month, I'm going to break it down into weeks.  I take a lot of pictures and think this might be better.  A fellow blogger is starting to do weekly updates for the same reason; random pics but not enough to write an entry for.  My hope is that once I'm caught up, that I can post weekly.  That doesn't seem to hard in theory:-)

Hunter let Bow cuddle with his pillow and blanket.

Hunter has been falling out of bed a lot...I think it's time for a real bed.

This doesn't look comfortable but he didn't mind.

She loves to play with Hunters toys.

Love the outfits with "booty art"!

Classic Eva with her hands behind her head as I try to take her weekly picture

My parents celebrated 40 years of marriage!  Not bad for a couple that dated:-)

Eva's One Year Pictures

We have been using the same photographers to capture our family for almost 4 years!  We love working with them and we had so much fun at Eva's one year photo shoot.  Hunter loves seeing Mike and Julie!  After each photo session we have, I always leave wondering if the photos will turn out.  They always do but I am so happy the way these turned out!  We were having family photos taken and the headaches that go into outfit planning are not fun!  A few months were spent wondering what the heck we were going to wear and wondering if the weather would be nice (I really wanted to be outside) and in the end it all came together on a gorgeous March day.

Eva's first Birthday

We didn't do too much on Eva's actual birthday.  She decided not to nap that morning but made up for it with a long afternoon nap.  After Jeremy got home from work, she opened her gifts from us and had her cake.  For Hunter, his birthday parties have always been before his actual birthday so we always have had left over cake.  But Eva's birthday was before the party so I decided to bake a cake for her:-)  She didn't eat  the cake like I thought she would have.  That night she also enjoyed her gift from my grandma, a bounce house.  We set it up in the playroom for her and Hunter to spend some energy:-)

"What is this??"

"Well, that was fun, what's next?"

We celebrated her birthday with a party that Saturday.  We held her party at my grandma's clubhouse and the space worked out perfectly!  The kiddos played downstairs and we were able to use the upstairs for all the other festivities.  Eva had a fun time walking around and being with family and friends.

The cake table with Eva's first year slide show projected on the wall.  It worked great!

Yummy cookies!

Can't beat the price on a yummy Costco cake!

Weekly pics.
Every Wednesday for 52 weeks, I made sure to get her picture.

Bounce house made for lots of fun.

We had the play-hut and tunnels for the kiddos too.

Cake time!

She still didn't know what to think about the cake.

But she did get messy:-)

She did well hanging out in the highchair while everyone ate cake.
