Baby Update

In October we found out that we are having a baby girl!  I wanted to do a fun gender reveal so in order to do that I didn't tell anyone when we were having our sonogram.  I didn't even tell Jeremy until a few days before just to be sure nothing was slipped.  It didn't take the tech long to type in on the screen "I'm a girl".

After our appointment we went to lunch and to buy some pink balloons.  We put the balloons in a balloons in a box and took the boxes to our parents house.  When they opened the box, the balloons came out and the gender of the baby was revealed.  My parents (especially my dad) couldn't believe I kept it a secret from my mom.  

Something funny that day was that after we got the balloons, Jeremy went home (while I did some other shopping) and my mom was talking to him and said I think it's a boy:-)  A few hours later she found out she was wrong:-)

People keep saying "Aren't you happy you are having a girl?  Now you have one of each."  Jeremy and I honestly didn't care what the gender of this baby was.  We just wanted to make sure the baby was healthy.  I was lucky to grow up with brothers and sisters and find the relationships between all my siblings to be special.
